Yeah, I think Rhyno was just sticking to his "I'm Rhyno! Blah!" gimmick. I don't think he meant anything he said. I agree with The Gore being better. I'd be having Goregasms left and right if they let Rhyno become what he was (The intense pationate destructive tank). I still remember when Spike Dudley was battlig off Edge & Christian on an episode of SmackDown!, and then bang! Gore through the table.
