Probably a non-issue. There was close to zero chance that JPP was going to sign the extension if healthy because he was expecting something closer to 9 figures. I'd pull the long-term deal with close to $30 million guaranteed if the idiot player nearly blew off his hand, too.

He'll wind up signing the franchise tag, might actually miss the opening Dallas game now because of his idiocy, and probably walk in the next offseason.
