I remember brainstorming a show when the WWE Network first came around set in Lance Storm's academy. It'd be like a worked training show, with there being a bunch of students who are training (in a kayfabe sense) towards a big wrestling show they put on, and the winners of certain matches get to head on to NXT.

You could have three girls in the show, but only two are going to get a trial match at the show. The other girl gets bitchy and costs a girl she thinks she's better than the match, setting up a rivalry for them next "season" as the other girl shows up on NXT.
