Rather have Owens win and continue building up the US title that started in a way with Sheamus. Whoever takes it from Owens in the future gets to be the one that the division revolves around as its top star.
Owens can act all smug like he did in NXT by claiming Cena didn't earn the right for a rematch which leads to Cena "proving" he does by continuing his Challenge series.
Ceasaro takes over for the short term feud against Owens while Cena-Owens IV match gets spaced out a bit more.
