I'm not even sure how it's working. Because in the first round, Toronto picked Joe Thornton, who already signed a deal in Europe.
I'd imagine that it would be a similar type thing... they can sign a contract, then if the NHL comes back they have the option to go back or something. Of course, I know nothing about contracts and everything so it probably isn't like that at all.
