Depends on the wrestler and if its fits what the WWE (or any other promotion) is trying to portray for that big man. A few big men get to show off some agility with their characters but for the most part they are just seen as mat-based or beast/monster type characters, at least in the WWE.

Someone like Big Show, a splash or elbow from the ropes works well since that's a typical big man type move while if he started to bust out frog splashes or dives to the outside, it would look awkward with how he's been portrayed over the years.
