Yes he is over right now, but it is my firm beleif that your first title reigns should come just at the point when you are MOST over. Remember those who were over like a mo'fo, but still had to wait YEARS to win the title...Shawn Michaels arguably should have won the title at Mania XI, but he didn't. Wait another year and let him win it and suddenly everyone conects with him and his long journy to get there. I already used the example of how Austin had to wait nearly 2 years to win the title once he became a mega superstar...this of Foley, Benoit, and (on the WCW side of things) Booker T. There was about 100 times that each of them were over enough to win the title, but why slap it on them just because they're popular. Use that popularity to tease the audience. Taunt them with the idea that, yes they COULD win...will it be tonight?
It isn't the fest that we enjoy the most, it is the hunt. I say Randy Orton winning the Title at WrestleMania XXII would be wonderful, especially if he can keep putting on good matches, and continue to get more and more over until then.
