Today was indeed a huge win, especially fighting back after yet another implosion from Jon Niese.

It's still very important for the Mets to take one of the next two with Harvey and deGrom on the mound. If they lose those next two, it gives the Nats a huge confidence boost. They'd still be down 3 games, but since the final series of the year is against the Mets it means they still control their own destiny and they'd merely need to keep pace to ensure their season will stay alive right up to the final series.

And right now the Mets still are sub-.500 against teams with a winning record on the year. They need to put the hammer down and make a statement here but I'm just not convinced the Nats are ready to die.
