Incredible turnaround, especially doing that in a game in which Harvey completely shit the bed after all of last week's controversy.

I said going in that they needed to take 2 of 3, and they did just that. Puts the Mets in a great spot. Even if they went 12-12 the rest of the way, the Nats would need to go 18-6 (a .750 clip) just to tie.

Of course, even knowing that I realize it would be huge if the Mets could deliver the final knockout blow tonight. I look at the Nats schedule and they play nothing but teams that have essentially folded it up for the year until the last series of the year against the Mets. So it's not the least bit inconceivable to me that they have yet another big run in them.
