It's a tough call on who would be a tougher matchup for the Cubs. The Mets have a more complete, potent lineup than the Dodgers but many of their hitters are also ridiculously streaky.

They also have 4 strong in the rotation whereas the Dodgers have the 1-2 punch of Kershaw and Greinke and nothing behind them. But seeing how good Kershaw looked on 3 day's rest I'd say it's now likely that a potential NLCS would involve seeing Kershaw 3 times and Greinke twice. But if you just win the 2 Brett Anderson starts all you need to do is take 2 of the remaining 5. Overall it might be a wash.

And the bullpens for both teams are pretty bad, too.

While the Mets and Cubs have sucked over the last couple of years Wadding and I would joke about the feasibility of merging the Mets' young pitching with the Cubs' young hitting to form a super team. Would be so cool to see a NLCS between those two teams after that.
