I don't feel that bummed about last night's loss, really. Kershaw is the best pitcher in baseball for a reason. Beating him twice in less than a week is a tall order for any team.

Of course, going into LA to try to beat arguably the 2nd best pitcher in baseball is a big ask, too. But at least the Mets have deGrom going. Hopefully 2015 Mets baseball will continue into the weekend but a one-game playoff is basically a coin flip. No matter what happens it won't damper the kind of year it's been. I know people on here give me shit for being negative but the reality is I've had more fun watching this Mets team than I have in ages. It's been worth the wait.
