Word from backstage is that Rusev is believed to have suffered a torn bicep, according to PWInsider. There is no confirmation on the severity of the injury but it was bad enough to stop the match.

Regarding the post-match tantrum that Rusev threw, that may have been done to make up some of the TV time they lost when the match had to be cut short.
