If Roman turns heel, joins the authority and gives the shaft to Ambrose, it's instantly far more interesting than anything Roman's done post Shield.
It sets up an easy and new feud with Ambrose, which could lead to Ambrose v Hunter while Reigns goes into Mania as champion against whoever wins the Rumble, with my choice being Lesnar.
Heel Roman gets the benefit of getting the Authority to do his talking and can cut heel promos, which may come more naturally for him.
