Don't know how it would play out, so my idea on how to book Reigns through WM won't be receiving its own thread. Instead, I will just leave it here.
Tonight at the Slammy Awards, whether the fans actually vote him or not, Superstar of the Year is the final category announced live and revealed. The presenter(s) start to read Reigns' name but are intertupted mid-sentence as Stephanie shows up and introduces back to RAW, her husband and COO of WWE, Triple H!
Triple H walks out, screams for his music to be cut, despite his nickname, he's in no mood to play games tonight. He demands Reigns get his sorry ass out here (on stage), and tells him he doesn't care if Reigns won the Superstar of the Year award or not, he's NOT taking home the trophy.
Instead, as a result of Reigns' recent actions, first physically against him at TLC and then verbally against his wife Stephanie and physically against the freaking CHAIRMAN of WWE, Reigns is going to have hell to pay. Triple H continues, saying he could've fired Reigns right here tonight but that's not good enough.
Triple H announces himself v. Reigns @ the Rumble PPV for the title, but if Reigns loses, he loses his job, too. And just to make it interesting, he loses the title and his job in the match by DQ or count-out in addition to pinfall or submission. Oh, and there's just one more thing, he tells Roman: there's a special referee for their match...Mr. McMahon's music plays and he walks out as Reigns looks shocked. Cameras fade to black to end the show.
Reigns defies the odds and wins at the Rumble, but Triple H isn't done with Reigns. He books himself in a title rematch at Fastlane, only this time it will be inside the HELL...IN A CELL! Trips wins the title.
Reigns must then navigate all kinds of obstacles in the weeks leading to WM 32, including having to face guys like Lesnar, Cena and Ambrose all in gruelling matches and finally gets a #1 Contender's Match in the main event of the RAW 6 days before WM and barely wins. Triple H walks out, impressed, and in semi-mock congratulations tells Reigns he's got his rematch at Mania, but it will now be a 3 Stages of Hell match. First fall, a singles match, Second fall, a street fight, and the 3rd fall, if necessary will be a ladder match.
In the fight of his life, both men battle on the top of a ladder. He knocks Triple H to the mat and a lightbulb goes off. He strategically sets up a couple ladders, climbs one till he's on the top rung and nails a spear to Triple H once he gets to the top, à la the famous Edge spot, then quickly climbs the ladder and retrieves the belt, celebrating ad the crowd roars its approval, while a motionless Triple H is attended to by doctors and finally comes to, walking off with help from them, and he turns around, scowling at the victorious Reigns who is smiling at him ear to ear. Fade to black.
