I can relate. My mother died of breast cancer just over 12 years ago, and so, I, too have seen this disease rear its ugly head and know that it has defeated countless numbers of even the healthiest and most resilient seeming people.

I will keep my thoughts and prayers with him and his family and friends as he goes through this time of great uncertainty and tribulation.
