There is also a timer for turning Rogue, in the instance of friendly fire (happens a lot around extraction points). When you first go Rogue, you have a timer (usually 20-30 seconds) and if you do not make any hostile moves against non-hostile agents, you will go back to being a non-hostile agent.
Yeah, I eventually figured that out (hardway), but the guy was taking pot shots and ducking. I didn't know he was a PC, as he was acting like the scattered AI I had encountered. I kept getting chip shots , so I shot back as one is apt to do. When I sniped his ass, of course, I went Rogue. Then, two more agents swooped in and started shooting the hell out of me. Basically, the one egged me into killing him so the others could bonus off of my ignorance.

The other trap is thr extraction point. There were quite a few times when there were multiple people at a chopper, and a group of about 3 would come in, X off everyone, and take all the loot for themselves... even when the point got swarmed with mooks we were trying to fend off. And you can't just get revenge, because by the time you respawn and get back to point of death, unless they're just being class A douchenozzles and racking up a multiple minute red timer or they're right by a spawn point (which they rarely are), they are no longer rogue and you just got screwed thrice (death, robbery, and no reciept).

You should get a revenge marker or something... kill the guy who just killed you. Or at least make the red timer last longer for the person who you just offed than everyone else.

As for AI encounters in DZ, I meant the encounters where you find loot to begin with. Once you find something, they seem to come out of the woodwork, especially at a ground-level extraction zone and particularly at night (in game). Don't know if the freaks coming out at night (thanks, Whodini) was intentional, or if it just happened to work out that way during my playthrough, but that seemed to be the pattern.

With all that said, I'll likely get this at some point. But for XBONE. And DZ won't see me very often.
