I think this is really all they want to do at this point. Neither one of them want to do anything serious, they want to be goofs. That *should* be what makes them enjoyable, just like the new day, but for some reason, it doesn't have the same grip as the New Day do.
Maybe because it feels like the New Day are playing exaggerated versions of themselves, but Goldust and Truth are playing totally fabricated characters? Dunno. There has to be some other variable.
