It's a really good idea to do the exact same things on RAW that they do on SmackDown. Think about it -- if you watch SmackDown you get to brag to your friends that you saw the exact same thing before them -- almost like you went to the future. It runs the program on television, so the WWE's elite broadcasting specialists can determine whether or not it tested well, and they can do a more rehearsed version live.

If you don't watch SmackDown, you don't miss out on anything; but if you do then you still get it first.

This is why WWE are the cutting edge in entertainment.
