6) During a recent interview with IGN, Bungie's former composer Marty O'Donnell revealed Halo 2 was never originally planned to have an abrupt ending and only occurred due to the studio running out of time to develop the game. The original plans story-wise would have been similar to certain parts of Halo 3's story.
