Most pro sports have their players dress up to a degree and its just about looking professional. You never know when they may have to meet with TV execs or sponsors.

As for what happens in the ring, well thats like saying a football player cant get dressed up to come to work because he's going to go out on the field wear tights, possible bleed and engage in pile-ons with a bunch of other sweaty men. They can always go in the lockerroom, and I dont know, take a shower, get cleaned up, put back on the suit, and they'll look professional again. Same thing can happen with wrestlers.

Well, no. We're not saying that they CAN'T dress that way.

Also, when I've been asked to dress for work, the dress code was the same for travel and in-house unless the jobs were radically different. If they were, both tended to still look good, but one would accomodate an outdoor environment.

However, it seems pointless to try and ask people to dress for success when they're known for their on-camera and public roles as slobs, fashion mistakes, and sluts. It's reasonable to ask them to do so as employess, it's just that it makes very little sense for them to actually do it.
