Joey Rickard? You mean the guy that was soooooo good the Rays, a team always looking for cheap talent, left him off their 40 man roster and allowed to be given away? Yeah. Spring training stats mean jack shit. They could give Rickard every chance to stick and the likelihood is he's probably a bench player at best.
