I've been buzzing through the thread here and reading results. And judging from what I'm reading, I guess it wasn't the best WrestleMania.
Just a few thoughts I got:
Unless it further gets addressed tonight, Shane McMahon's return looks like it was for nothing. Sure he took some bumps and put up a fight. But the match didn't really do anything for either man. Would have thought for sure this was it for the Undertaker and Shane taking over Raw was going to bring us new places and potentially end the Authority storyline. Conflicted when Shane came back, still conflicted about it now.
Would have liked for Ambrose to go over Lesnar. He had it all going for him. Fans love him to death, had the "blessings" of Terry Funk & Mick Foley, great gimmick to boot. Would have done wonders if the "upstart crazy guy" took down The Beast. Could have been an instant threat to Reigns for the Title and make Ambrose be the "Man who took down Brock Lesnar clean" man we've been waiting for.
Styles vs. Jericho. I'm probably in the boat with the majority asking the question as to why Jericho went over here. My script said Styles wins, feud over, both men move on. But I guess Creative is gonna stretch this out for one more PPV and then finally end it.......thankfully. It's getting tiresome.
Divas/Women's title. Charlotte wins. I honestly thought this had Sasha Banks' big moment written all over it. Curious as to what happens tonight on Raw. I honestly think Daddy Ric needs to walk away from this and let her stand on her own.
IC title ladder match. Yeah.......call up the Scooby Gang for this mystery. Zack Ryder winning. Who knew? Seriously, who knew?
Roman Reigns wins, as predicted. There was no 11th hour change. The MITB was already used. There was no other way out. And I guess it wasn't that great of match either. This is what Vince is running with. This is what he wants. Whatever happens, happens.
