the reason Vince McMahon let Shane McMahon run the show is because he (i.e., Vince McMahon) didn't want to be upstaged so he felt he had to get the last word in and "panicked" and didn't know what to say so he let Shane run the show instead of just having security take him (i.e., Shane McMahon) away
