I can't say I feel bad for Ryder. He stumbled ass-backwards into a Mania match after doing nothing for years and then actually won the thing. So he'll always have that moment. I'm happy for him, since I really think they gave him the shaft in 2012 when he was getting super over in the midcard only for them to kinda toss him into a Cena storyline and then make him look like a total bitch at WM28. This more than made it up to him I'm sure.
That said, everybody knew he would drop it a night later. Ryder himself probably knew it before he even got backstage yesterday. It does amuse me that rather than put it on a new guy or something they're trying to jumpstart a Miz midcard push for the 800th time but at least Miz is good and hey, anything that evidently gets Maryse back on TV is a good thing.
