Gameplay wise it is easily the best and smoothest. The faster time-to-kill worried me but it is still 'Halo', just faster. I love it.
If it wasn't for the amazing Forge, this might have had the worst maps since Reach multiplayer (launch maps). Forge has put fun maps in there and there's virtually no past maps that can't be remade. Somebody made Containment from Halo 2. If that can be made anything can be made.
Warzone is nice lounge gametype with occasional spurts of close games. I play that most. BTB is BTB. Arena is the most fierce Halo's ever been.
The REQ reward system can go fuck itself but I have a general bias against loot/RNG systems popping up in games. I know what I want, I hate gambling for it.
As you seen I'm diving in to Forge finally and given time, I got some wild stuff coming. So long as I can actually get my guys together.
Won't mention lack of splitscreen, trying to have a good day today.
