The Miami Herald reported today that a bid for a future Wrestlemania event has been placed. The idea would be for the city to host Wrestlemania at Dolphins Stadium, eyeing somewhere in 2018-2020.
Wrestlemania 28, headlined by the first-ever John Cena vs. The Rock bout, was held in Miami in 2012.
The bid was placed back in February and the city is waiting to hear back from WWE.

TNA still stubbornly refusing to do anything that could make them more attractive to new investors. Almost every failed deal ended up happening because TNA refused to do managerial and/or ownership changes needed.

The latter happened to the WWE's Darren Young during a televised match against the Wyatts. During a recent interview with TMZ Sports, he talked about the experience after he was asked to reveal the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to him during his wrestling career. "One of the Wyatt boys slammed me so hard that I sharted my pants," he said, before stating the obvious. "I was so embarrassed. I never wore those tights again.”
