As for Hogan not being as big as the Rock, you must have no concept of what the wrestling world was like in the late 80's/early 90's. The entire federation was based around one thing: getting Hogan over. Sure, he got there by being a back-stabbing, politicking, nepotistic jerk, but he still got there. Even today, Hogan is pretty much synonymous with the word "wrestling," more than Austin or the Rock ever were, I'd bet.

Stone Cold and Rocky are absolutely huge, and far superior workers, but neither one can top Hogan when it comes to name value.
