Yes, yes he does. They should totally just go with their intro and nothing from the announcer. Maybe on special occasions have their own announcer come out and do the bit from their intro.
My wife personally hates their intro. I find it to be absolutely perfect for them. The black and white aesthetic is very well done. The only niggling issue I have with it is that when they yell during the 'silent movie' portion of their entrance, occasionally they get a bit too loud and get picked up by some of the more distant microphones that aren't muted. I imagine it's honestly the announcers mics picking them up. They need to bring it down a notch so that it doesn't ruin the immersion.
