It's funny because he's not having a better year than any of them. He is perhaps in the conversation, but only because he's on a contending team and because he has an "oooohhh shiny" win-loss record.. But he's not significantly better, if at all, than any of them.

What's funnier is you think he is having a better year based on him being on your favorite team, but think a guy who was a terrible starter now turned one inning reliever is Cy Young worthy.

In a minimum of 70 innings pitched, Tillman is not top 20 in pitcher WAR, according to Fangraphs. He's not in the top 20 in k9. Barely top 20 in ERA by 2/10 of a run
Well out of the top 20 in fielding independent pitching (i.e., he's been lucky/blessed with a good defense). Not top 20 in k%. He's actually 50th in bb%.

So exactly what is Tillman good at that would make you think he's actually Cy Young worthy? Besides wins and losses and the fact that he's happens to play in Baltimore?
