Would also feel like a waste for Zayn's first main roster title be just a 1-day reign ending in possible shenanigans. Same for wasting some of Owens' star power on a meaningless reign.
Everyone else would basically feel like a bigger waste of a reign assuming once again the idea was to just hold it for a day.

It'd be a feel good moment if Spike Dudley won the WWE Title too. Let's do that.
The business has changed, but arguably not for the better. I'm really glad Zack Ryder has got lots of friends that want to put him over and stuff. That's the sort of mentality that would get Brutus Beefcake in main event matches though. There's a reason Zack Ryder is a not a legitimate mid-card threat. I used to think it was because he got over on his own, but I think there's more to it. Competition is what drives those in WWE to get better. When everybody is safe and has got a great cushy spot, why would anyone ever get any better?
Who in the WWE full-time, besides John Cena, is an actual draw?
