If you would've told me in 2010/11 that Heath Slater not only would still be employed in 2016 but be one of the most consistently entertaining characters on the show, I'd have said you were nuts. He was absolutely cringeworthy on the first season of NXT when they were trying to present him as a squeaky-clean babyface, and during the Nexus/Corre days he looked utterly ridiculous standing in the background trying to look like a super serious henchman.
Ever since he got started getting punked out by legends every week in 2012 he's been gold.
