Should at least let him play 3B for his final game. Maybe its just his tone but ever since they went on a selling spree, Girardi has sounded at times like he feels he's getting the axe after the season.
Yankees had a few chances to wash their hands from A-Rod the past few years but did nothing and even changed their tone when he had to bail them out a few times. The rumored Miami trade a few years ago was their best chance mostly because they actually found someone dumb enough to take his contract at the time.
