Wrestling has always had those kinda "characters" though..... no different really.
The Demon King, as a gimmick, is great. I'm sure, if WWE paid, he could still do his Venom/Joker/Hannibal-type entrances he became known for, but he can't.
It is all meant to be a "spectacle" so maybe you are just "growing up" and don't find it entertaining anymore?
