All I'm saying is he's seemed comfortable there. A lot more comfortable than I would have expected. Not saying he's a long-term solution there, but if CF is the only way to get him into the lineup in 2017 because they insist on trotting one of Bruce/Granderson out in RF, so be it. He can move to RF in 2018. This is all contingent on retaining Cespedes, which they simply need to do.

In a perfect world...I'd like Cespedes in LF, Conforto in RF, and enough offense coming out of the infield that you can get by with Lagares playing CF every day. Juan is still amazing defensively and kills LHP but is useless against RHP. If you have a strong 1-7 though it doesn't matter as much.

Doubt the Mets could get to that point though. Wright and d'Arnaud are always going to be hurt, Flores is the same as Lagares in that he can't hit RHP, and Duda is inconsistent. All of these are more reasons why they need to keep Cespedes as he's the one guy that consistently mashes everybody.
