Totally get that, and you're right. This option just waters everything down from the depth of divisions to the meaning of the titles. 8 individuals or teams now will have titles, 9 after Cruiserweight comes back, which seems like too much. What have the IC and US title meant? Shit. Now add another belt above them on the card and what do they mean? Same goes for the Tag titles. Hell, the nxt champ and women's champ probably get ranked higher based on perceived importance by the fans.

What would my suggestion be as an alternative? Not much. Figure that if the cruiserweights are exclusive to Raw, why can't the Women be exclusive to Smackdown? Why can't whomever has the tag titles get a "commissioners exemption" to be able to work for whatever show they want? That way you can keep the tag division semi fluid and use the belts on either show based on whom you wanted to feud over the titles.
