Something like that happened at my college last year. Some guys got rip-roaring drunk at a frat party (big fucking surprise) and decided to go and harass some people. They caught this one guy walking alone down Frat Row on his way home, and they beat the shit out of him, finally basically re-enacting the curb scene right out in front of the house.
