Ultimately it's all a bit of a shame really.
Wrestling really suffered for a few years due to a lack of competition, and when the WWE was at it's worst credible competition was greatly needed and never appeared. There was a stage where TNA looked like they might just make it to that level, when they had recognizable names and were building some decent starts of their own, but dropped the ball.
Ever since then it has been downhill and it's only been a matter of time for a couple of years now.
The fact people will be losing their jobs and there are less opportunities for full time paying gigs for wrestlers (not that TNA has been a full time commitment for a number of years) means the industry suffers.
But TNA have no-one to blame but themselves. And Hogan.
Fuck it, let's just blame Hogan.
