Sable has a place on the mt Rushmore of modern women's wrestling, Chyna as well. They led to Trish. Neither we're big draws but Sable brought women back to the product and Chyna validated the gender. Neither case takes away from Triah however. Miss Elizabeth is out of place in this conversation.
(3min w/ entrances =/= 3 min matches ftr. Most tv matches were 3-7min at that time. Divas matches post Trish were 3min w/entrances. Horrid times.)
Of course none of this refutes that they were competing for men's time. Chyna worked men directly and Sable too fought for men's time no different than the women who came before or since.
Pre-Sable women werent on the show. They arent under obligation to give women time every week. Since 98 weve seen big strides in the value on women's wrestling. While Trish was on thw roster they would give a solid 15min per show to Trish's segement plus another 7 to whomever they were building up to face her down the road. Thats a sizable piece of the pie. Especially then.
Agaim you are coming from a place that women are somehow entitled to 20 min a night and thats revisionist history at best.
