I had a thought about James Ellsworth today. Since it doesn't matter if he beats the World Champion, at this point you might as well have him win the Royal Rumble. I mean, what will it hurt? You have two guys fighting near the ropes (maybe Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose) so that Ellsworth can go out and dump them out last.
I mean, people want to see him beat AJ Styles more than John Cena or Dean Ambrose right? Why not let Ellsworth win the Rumble, but you know, not too strongly so nobody gets hurt, of course, and main event WrestleMania? Since there are two World Titles you don't need to have him close the show. Give him a special entrance at Mania -- it will be hilarious.
It will be a lot of the other guys eliminated each other from the Rumble, so it's not like he actually has to beat them. No one gets hurt. Everybody also says they want a really surprising Royal Rumble winner. No one would be more surprising than The Chinless Dream. And they've built it up so well.
WrestleMania is going to sell out anyway, so there will be plenty of people to pick up their ironic James Ellsworth t-shirts. I bet you they could be The New Day of this year's WrestleMania.
I mean, what's the harm, right? He can beat the champion, that much has been proven. Why not milk it for the emotional drama of whether or not he can do it at the biggest stage possible?
