I feel bad for TJP. If he'd kept his "gimmick" and presentation from the CWC, he'd have had a real chance. If he'd kept Devastate as his theme, stayed "confident, brash young-veteran that can make it look easy," and still had the same hard fought matches he'd been having, I think he'd have had a chance.

Kitschy video game gimmick and shoehorned references aren't going to get you over alone.
