• I know it was just two moves, but if I have that to go by, I imagine that Goldberg/Lesnar is not going to be all that great, but it's still early days.
• What on earth was Saxton wearing? Seriously, was his Halloween costume a baby? Regardless if it was or not, I've noticed that every week I'm finding him more and more annoying.
The only good reason for keeping him around is to hear the quips directed at him from Corey Graves.
• On the subject of being annoying, TJ Perkins had his rematch and lost in such a way that made him look stupid for the second night in a row. I know it won't happen but the feud should be over now as Perkins had his rematch and didn't get the title back.
We need a number one contender match now but I'm sure we'll have another two weeks of this, with it ending at Survivor Series. Maybe the night after that, we'll have a number one contender battle royal or something with the Cruiserweights, including the new additions which I'm sure will debut next week in Glasgow.
• Foley on the mic now and I feel that for me, one of the things that I like SmackDown more than Raw for is that the GM is hardly on the mic. We can go a few weeks without Daniel Bryan appearing in the ring with a mic and when he does, it's usually for something important such as a contract signing or new title unveiling and he doesn't even talk for that long.
With Foley, he's in the ring on a mic every week and he talks for a good 10-15 minutes and most of the time, there's no need for him to be out there. Hell, I'm sure there's been a few episodes of SmackDown that Bryan hasn't even appeared at, not even backstage, but every single week without fail, Foley appears in the ring for ages or backstage.
• The outcome of the battle royal was pretty obvious. The last two guys were the two guys that got televised entrances. Although I would have loved it, I really doubt Curtis Axel was going to win.
Team Raw however is shaping up to really suck, that is compared to what I think Team SmackDown will be.
• More Cruiserweights now and it's the same six people as before. This division feels like it's already dead. All we have is one feud going on at the moment and that's Kendrick/Perkins. The six of these guys just seem to keep facing each other week after week but no hate grows between them.
Also, Cedric Alexander really needs a theme change. It's so quiet that you can actually feel the crowd not giving a shit.
I think one way to make the division more interesting and help build up interest of the Cruiserweights is have them face other people and not just fellow Cruiserweights.
Have Tony Nese & Drew Gulak chase the Tag Team Championships or even Gran Metalik face Rusev for example, because it's at the point now where the Cruiserweights have faced each other so many times now that nobody really cares anymore.
• I see that Cesaro has dropped the James Bond entrance, which is good because it was always so awkward to watch as he rarely got it right. All we need now is his theme to change or even just drop the sirens.
I don't get what they're doing with Primo & Epico. They get a win over the hot tag team that is Enzo & Cass, then they go to having a match against three guys in their mid to late 40's over watches, to randomly appearing every now and then.
These guys should really be on SmackDown.
• Judging by the end of the main event, next week in Glasgow the main event will be Jericho/Owens vs Rollins/Reigns.
• Overall, roll on SmackDown.
