Rick Porcello won the AL Cy Young while Max Scherzer took the NL Cy Young award.

Porcello beat runner-up Verlander by 5 points. Verlander had more 1st place votes but only got two 2nd place votes while Kluber and Britton took a decent chunk of 1st place votes away and had more 2nd place votes than he had.

Porcello finished with 137 points to Verlander's 132, marking the second-closest election since 1970 when voters were permitted to select more than one pitcher.
Verlander's fiancee had a huge meltdown on Twitter when the results came in.
