Yes since on paper, the IC belt would get a lot more focus and strength if it was the only real mid-card belt around.

WWE has already shown the idea of the US belt's prestige only maters if its Cena and Reigns with the belt. Maybe even Rusev only because he plays the perfect anti-American bad guy for it.

Once Reigns drops the belt, its probably going back to irrelevance after a short while. Either that or rehash Rusev's stuff with the belt for a third time if he takes it next.
