This is kind of the problem with the product now. The brand split helped a bit, because people aren't wrestling eight times a month leading up to the PPV--just four.

Still, most feuds are just "I beat you. You beat me! Let's keep fighting!" That's why stuff like Becky vs Charlotte at the beginning of the year worked so well. Even Miz/Ziggler, which was a lot of win trading, had an underlying story. Stuff doesn't have to be crazy over the top like Undertaker kidnapping Stephanie in order for it to have reasoning and stakes, but it seems like there's not a lot of thatgoin g on any more.
