I was a big proponent of the cruiserweight division coming back but that was with the caveat that the main event scene shouldn't be riddled with smaller guys. You could justify a few Daniel Bryan types "transcending the weight class" and working with the heavyweights but when they're all over the place, the division doesn't make sense.
They bring back the Cruiserweight Title just as they drop "Heavyweight" from the World Title. It makes very little sense to me how they've done it. You also have guys like Cedric Alexander cutting weight in order to be in the division, while guys like Seth Rollins are in the "World" Title scene. It's really weird. They should have just done the CWC as a stand-alone thing, given it to Ibushi and called it a day until next year.
