It makes me immensely sad that my first exposure to Macho Man was fucking 1999 WCW. Wrestling in leather pants, a biker cap, and not doing much in the ring. Could not understand why the announcers were talking him up so much. Only thing I liked was his big titted blonde girlfriend who was half his age.

Then I eventually got around to renting old WWF PPVs at Blockbuster and realized the error of my ways.
