As an athlete though, he was so nimble and quick in an era that didn't have that. He was way ahead of his time and was just an amazing athlete.
His work in the mega powers splitting and his reactions and one promo in particular in his Jake feud were soooo good. He knew how to work the crowd and how to elicit real emotion.
In saying that, Hart was arguably a better technician in the ring because he was able to call it in the ring and tell a story in many situations, whereas the macho man needed to plan every single step previously, as it's been well documented.
Two of the main eventers who took the business super serious, but because of that could tell stories and elicit real emotions like few others could.
Fantastic matchup and I will have to think about this one...
