If you're talking about the rumble itself, I'd say 2007. The flow of the match to my recollection was pretty good and the ending of it worked well.
The next closest "recent" one I'd say is 2010.
For a shits & giggles rumble, I still like to watch 2014... but just for the crowd shitting over the Rey entry, Punk's elimination and the final two of 'tista & Roman.
