By the way, I was more refering to 2000, when you had Culpepper and didn't have Reed (I think he was in New Orleans that year).

Time will tell.... I'm just really not sold on your RB situation, and if you ran a short route/ball control, might be a different story, but the office Tice is running is a "high scoring" and for that you need a good RB, who can bail your ass out when it's 3rd and 17.

I'm not saying the Vikes are the worst or have no shot.. but assuming every team is healthy... I just don't see them even making the superbowl.
What the fuck?

Mike Tice is all about ball control. We have not put many points on the board, because we are ball control.

However, for the past 29057907420937409274 years, we have been either AT or NEAR the top of the NFL in offense. Last year, we were #1. The year before, when we went 6-10, we were the #1 rushing offense, #2 offense behind Oakland.

The reason we have "big plays," is because we play small ball, but when they play up, we audible, we make teams pay for playing 8-up. That's not a high-scoring mentality, that's SMART. If they can't play 8-up, they have a harder time stopping the rush. If they play 8-up, they have a harder time stopping the pass. It's simple football.

We have lost nobody except for the WR we upgraded. Add that to more experience for Pep, Onterrio, Burleson, Campbell, and McKinnie, and we have improved quite a bit since last season.

So yeah, we are the best offense in the NFL.

And what the fuck, no HBs?

Are you looking at this year's Vikings, or the Vikings from 10 years ago?

Michael Bennett can break a long gain at any time; he's the fastest HB in the NFL, one of the fastest players. He's a world-class sprinter, and I think he was planning on trying out for the Olympics, if he didn't get injured last year. So on 3rd and 17... there aren't many players I'd rather have.

I'm sorry, man, but you don't seem to have any clue about the Vikings at all. While I agree they're probably not Superbowl-bound, I'm sure our reasons for saying so are completely different.

You may say that we don't have any HBs ( ), or try too hard to score (the Vikings had several drives over 10 minutes last season), but that's all bullshit. The only way we won't make the superbowl is if the coaching breaks down. (or Injuries, but Belicheck did it with injuries, so even that is no excuse.)
