Trying to remember but wasn't the original plan for him to be named after a former Japanese emperor and people had to explain to Vince/Creative why that was terrible both as an idea and plans they had for the gimmick.

Think even Kenzo and Tajiri persuaded them to do something else instead for their own safety whenever they'd want to go back to Japan and not have to risk dealing with a pissed off Yakuza.
